The pattern changes when you put a warm drink into the teacup.
When you fill the teacup with a beverage over 45 degrees Celsius, a vivid pattern based on the ukiyoe motif of Katsushika Hokusai will emerge from the black silhouette.
When the cup cools down, it reverts back to the black silhouette, making it a wonderful cup that can be enjoyed over and over again!
